It is the ideal base for long hikes through the fens, for cross-country skiing (tracks begin 200 metres away), for cycle trips and horse-drawn carriage rides.

Our guesthouse lies some 3 kilometres from the centre of the climatic health resort of Monschau, the main tourist destination of the Eifel region.
On the outskirts of Monschau you find the handicrafts village with its glassblowing factory.
High above the Old Town you find the castle, which can be reached by S-Bahn with ease. During the summer open-air classical concerts take place here.
